Entitled ‘The Shore’ this hauntingly beautiful and enigmatic large abstract oil painting on board depicts a beach scene with two figures alone who are possibly watching a sunrise or sunset. It is signed and dated 1965 by English artist Vivienne Foster (1936-2014) from Yorkshire. Vivienne studied at the St Martins School of Art. It has stunningly beautiful colours and is a very good size.
