Early 20th Century Antique Grape Hod or “Hotte”
This delightful antique French circa 1900 metal grape hod or “Hotte”, a basket/container carried on the back. They are harder to find nowadays as they stopped using them for their original purpose many years ago due to mechanisation.
The fabulous Red/Pink colour and naturally aged and weathered patina have tremendous appeal. It is in very good original condition and there are no holes or worn through areas. Whether using it as a garden container, filled to the brim with flowers or as the perfect party accessory as an ice cooler filled with ice for Champagne, wine or soft drinks this will give a real Mediterranean feel to your interior and exterior areas.
