This beautifully decorative true mirror Pair of Carved Hardwood Water Buffalo facing into each other date back to circa 1960s. Both are very well carved with appealing faces, always important in any sculpture, and there is great attention to detail regarding both faces and body form making them so very tactile.  The wood is a lovely deep rich colour particularly highlighting the grain of the wood.

They are of such  good large size making them suitable for being placed on either the floor or raised up on a table or plinth.  Wherever they are placed they will make a wonderful addition to the décor of any room.
