This is a delightful English Regency pine washstand in original paint decoration with faux marble top. The raised gallery, with shelf, is beautifully shaped and complimented by the choice of blue hand painted curly line decor.  It has a single drawer to the front and sits on simple turned and decorated legs, the paint decor being used to cleverly emphasise the height of the table. There is a lower tier shaped shelf which would originally have stored the wash bowl and jug.  It is a lovely example and in very good condition with expected age related wear in places.

This is such a versatile piece and could make a compact good work station or dressing table.  Whilst this is a surprisingly lightweight table making it is fairly easy to move around should you wish it is perfectly capable of taking some weight.
