Pair Of Matégot Style Garden Chairs
This is such a chic pair of very good quality iron garden chairs in the style of the great Hungarian/French Designer, Mathieu Matégot. Circa 1980s, they are still in their original white paint decoration, which is now clearly showing signs of wear to the paint, but there is no damage to either chair at all. They are of good large proportions with generous, comfortable seats and are solid and sturdy and will last a long time if looked after. The seat height is 43 cm.
The gentle sloping front of the seats, makes them easy to spend time sitting, but you could add a seat and back cushion if you wished, but having tested these, they don't really need them. The back and seats have the Rigitulle design that was coined by Matégot and became synonymous with his name. Ideal for use in the garden or the home, you will enjoy owning this stylish pair of chairs and they will offer a little uniqueness to your patio or lawn.
